Teardrops is a 1988 song by American husband/wife duo Womack & Womack (Cecil and Linda Womack), released as the first single from their fourth studio album, Conscience (1988). Although the song was not a hit in their native United States, it was a massive hit elsewhere, it charted at number 3 in the United Kingdom and number 1 in Belgium, the Netherlands and New Zealand, It would be a Top 10 in several other countries like Australia, Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Ireland, Spain, Switzerland and West Germany.
