Originally released in 1993 by Strictly Rhythm as a single from the project's debut album, Move It! (1994), it was re-released in 1994 after the success of "I Like to Move It". "Doop" is an instrumental by Dutch Eurodance group Doop (made up of Peter Garnefski & Frederik Ferry). It was released on 28 February 1994, by Clubstitute Records, as the first single from their debut album, Circus Doop (1994).
