One that I seemed to have forgot to add is this Yoko SCR 168L presumed early 90s, never heard of the Chinese brand but seem quiet popular at one stage even building 3D surround boomboxes, i saw this and though it would go with my triple.

My Boombox Collection - No 28
2 minutes after finding the Sharp, I also found this Yorx FP1010 (nicknamed "Newave") Triple Deck (complete with box) (No 28) from the 1980s which originally was available in three colours, Black, Red and White.

So whilst on holiday we decided to check out the local boot sales and i found and added to my collection (No 27) this Sharp GF666 from around 1980

Another boombox in the collection (No 26) is this JVC PC-W310J from 1986 with removable personal XL-R10 CD Player oh and some more singles.

Another boombox in the collection (No 25) is this presumed 1970s Mitsouki ST-730, oh and some singles.

Another added to the collection found locally for €10, Panasonic RX-DT680 soft touch stereo, i believe its from 1991 and would been an expensive unit back in the day. both tape decks on this one have auto reverse, soft touch control, it has a 4 channel amp, quiet impressed by its power and its quiet weighty, it does also have the CD and still has its handle but the aerial is broken, but we'll consider that an easy fix.

Another boombox added this to the collection, It's a Europhon RCP110 Jumbo, Made in Italy, I believe in the 1980s but can find little information for this model on the net, maybe others know of another the same.

Got this boombox (No 22) for a couple of euros probably would have ended up in the bin, it’s tired but fully working and now saved to see another day, Made by Radiola 8419 Spatial Stereo presumed late 70s, Radiola was taken over by Philips, who produced the same model as the Phillips D8418.

Another boombox in my collection (No 20) is this Panasonic RX1450LS From 1981.

Another boombox in the collection (No 19), its a Thomson MRK361T dating to the early 1980s, a french market edition with all the buttons in french this one is much smaller than my other boxes measuring just (l)36x(h)17 and 8cm in depth, but has good sound, early feature of a digital scan for the radio with presets, made by Asahi Electronics in Singapore.

"If its got a handle its a boombox" they say, well this would be one of my smallest, this little boombox was made by Thomson (Model) RT330 and dates back to 1981.

Something small for the collection not something I’d normally look for but it was mint condition and only €2, It's a Philips D6270 dating to 1986, Computer Compatible. Ideale for retro computers like the ZX Spectrum, MSX etc, I actually still have a Commodore 64.

It's not strictly a boombox but an Barthe Educassette from the 80's commonly used for language courses but also features varible speed, which did also mean you could in theory use them for mixing.
