"Everybody (Rap)" is a track by New York-based electronic and dance music project Criminal Element Orchestra (fronted by the legendary producer and DJ Arthur Baker with the hip hop lyrics by Wendell Williams), the "orchestra" wasn't a traditional band but rather a rotating collective of musicians, vocalists, and engineers under Baker's direction. They were a cornerstone of the New York club scene, bridging the gap between hip-hop, electro, and early house music.
