"Suddenly" was used in the Australian soap opera Neighbours (Episode 523, Released 1st July 1987) during an episode that focuses on the wedding of popular couple Scott Robinson and Charlene Mitchell (portrayed by Jason Donovan and Kylie Minogue). Neighbours cast member Kylie Minogue selected the song, who thought it was lyrically "beautiful."
