Midnight Star is an American group that had a string of hits in the 1980s. The group was formed in 1976, "Midas Touch" taken from the album Headlines released in 1986, It reached number 42 on theUS Billboard Chart and number 7 on the US R&B Chart, They achieved their biggest success in the UK with "Midas Touch", which made number 8, and "Headlines", a number 16 hit earlier the same year.
