KC and the Sunshine Band - Please Don't Go

Please Don't Go is a song recorded by American disco and funk band KC and the Sunshine Band and released in 1979 as the second single from their sixth album, Do You Wanna Go Party (1979). The song was the band's first love ballad. The song was a number-one hit on the Australian ARIA Charts, their sixth and final number-one hit in Canada on the RPM national chart as well as their fifth and final number-one hit on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. It was also an international chart hit, hitting number 3 on the UK singles chart and the Top 10 in Belgium, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand and Norway.
